So really you just need to add body filler and do some sanding. Good luck removing the carpet... James would rebuild an enclosure before he re-carpeted one.
nah, the shop did a terrible job of glueing
it shouldnt be too hard, and im a pretty determined guy lol

If you take a thick plastic spray or use a cup and pait brush and brush acetone in the carpet lightly . you will find it comes off much easier. And yes I would rather rebuild an enclosure than recarpet it have done it several times. but i glue the crap out every single enclosure.

sand the box and then spay it with polyester filler. no glas needed unles you want to change the shape

www.selectproducts.com will have everything you need for this.

It's not that bad. Just sucks when you have to do it in the middle of an install.

It would suck on one of your enclosures because of the glue you use but on average it isn't too bad.
well my other option is to strip the carpet, sand it smooth, paint it, and seal it really well..

i dont kno how to fiberglass so that one might be what i go wit.
You will need filler if you want it to look right.
wut kind of filler?
like a body filler or a wood putty filler lol
so as of today the carpet is off of the box, but the glue they used is really thick in some places wich makes it really hard to get the little carpet pieces off. i spent 3 hours going at it with 8 sheets of 40 grit to almost no effect. is there a chemical i could use that would break the glue off? a friend recomended a citrus based cleaner..

acetone acetone acetone acetone acetone
ok.. i used it, but it just made the box wet and smell funny lol
is there a special way i should use it, because i put it heavily on a rag and started scrubbing, but pretty much nothing happened. any tips for me? im getting pretty discouraged lol i just want to start glassing, but i cant get past the stupid glue!
also is it possible to make a custom enclosure to fit behind the back seat to house 2 or 3 subs (10's) and 2 amps.. one for the two 12's under my back seat, and one for the 10's?

Not enough room in a King Cab if you want a functional rear seat. There is just over 2 inches at the deepest point when the seat is latched in the upright position.
aww f*ck haha
mine is a crew cab (thats the four door one ya?)
dont roast me for asking that question..
i always get confused lol
