Hi!
I dont have a Titan, but my boyfriend does and for Christmas I want to get him one of those fishing rod holder that you mount on the front of the truck. I know nothing about this and was hoping yall could help! All I can see is that you need the actual rod holder and a receiver. Does this just screw into the truck front? I dont know if thats right! Has anyone done one of these and can help me out! Thanks!!

I don't have much insight to fishing rod holders but from the Titan standpoint a front mounted receiver is a pricey item and has to be installed. I'm assuming you're looking at the type that can also hold a cooler and maybe 8 rods?

did you have a price in mind? I'm sure others will chime in but you may want to check the hunting/fishing threads as well.

Thanks guys! Yes thats what Im looking for. Just the 4 rod holder no cooler needed. I guess Im just not sure of the receiver. It screws on to the front... so this will leave holes when/if you take it off right? Sorry I know nothing about cars/trucks! I was hoping to find something that went into the trailer hitch but maybe they just dont make that! Thanks for all your help!

The Titan doesn't come standard with a FRONT Trailer hitch. You could look at your B/F's and see if he has a rear hitch. If that's the case, then you could use the one that goes in the reciever, which only appear to be the 6 rod kind. Otherwise, if you go with the bolt on unit, he'll have to drill holes in the bumper, which I'm sure he probably doesn't want to do.

You could get a front receiver hitch, and use the reciever hitch model, but then things are adding up, you'd likely have close to $400 tied up in the hitch, and rod holder.
