I had a stupid flat tire on my truck today going to my job's office. I was entering the south 405 junction on the 118 west, I was going 35 mph and they had one lane shut because there were street sweeping trucks ahead of us. Well, I started to hear a thunking noise but I thought it was the dump truck ahead of me. Well, the freeway opened up and I pick it up to 70mph, then my tire pressure sensor beeps for 6 seconds straight. I used my rear view mirrors to examine my tires and my driver rear tire was flat! I pull off the freeway on Nordoff and into a parking lot and changed in my spare tire. I look at the damage, it looks like a 4 inch long gash that goes all the way to the wire frame of the tire. WTH would do that, and I was going only 35 mph when I heard a noise! UGH! Well, I felt good because I changed my tire in under 15 minutes and was back on the road. *Sigh* AAA would of taken 2 hours. lol
Now I have a stupid SR-A and 3 Conti's and I don't roll like that. I have my 4 22'' rims w/ brand new Yoko's in the garage and I'm about to change them over. lol Since its So-cal and winter season is over, I just might do that. lol
