If you have a SE it should be prewired. Look up front near the opening for the fog lights, should be a pigtail tape up somewhere near there.
If you buy the nissan fog light kit, it consists of the lights, and a replacement stalk with the foglight switch built in. Popping in lights and replacing steering wheel stalk takes about 20 minutes, anyone can do it.MARKSOWN96 said:So in reference to all this fog light talk, I have a 06 KC SE w/o fogs, it is pre-wired and all...I just wanna know if I can (and how) connect the fogs to the factory harness and just use a switch in one of the blank outs? BTW... I'm nw to TT and already think this site rocks!!!
Dark wheels should have nothing to do with it, My 05 SE has the dark wheels and it was prewired for the foglights.Seerex said:When I was buying my 2005 I had to check because during the switch over , in interior and wheels in mid 2005 some did not come with the prewiring for the foglights , do you have the dark wheels or with the compass in the rearview mirrior? If so you you might be one of those trucks.
I should clarify, I already have a set of aftermarket fogs (that just so happen to fit into the stock foglight locations) but I don't have the complete wire harness for it...so just wondering if I could splice it into the factory foglight harness and just somehow connect a toggle switch, rather than buying the headlight stalk ($85). Thanks though.rvandam said:If you buy the nissan fog light kit, it consists of the lights, and a replacement stalk with the foglight switch built in.
