About a year ago I wired up a pair of 55w fog lights. This weekend I notice they aren’t coming on. This must be why… the fuse burned/melted the fuse holder at each end. What would cause this? A fuse that was too big or too small? I used a 30 amp relay then this wire with the in-line fuse to the battery. The fuse (15a 250v) appears to be intact. Relay and fog lights seem ok. Anyone have recommendations … different fuse, heavier gauge wire to battery?

Yeah, that's a pretty light weight fuse holder...

I will get ATC/ATO fuse and better fuse holder tomorrow then... if I can find one. I am assuming the wire gauge and 15 amp fuse are correct though?

Thanks for the help! I am a bit new to wiring if you cant tell. :redblob"
