So, I have a 2004 Titan. My truck did not come with fog lights, I bought a set of fog lights and installed them using the factory plug-in that is attached to the wire going to the head lights. At first no results, found out my truck didn't have the proper head light switch. I bought a new headlight switch that included the on/off for the fog lights. I have that installed in my truck and still no lights. I have checked the 20 amp fuse in the engine compartment and still nothing.

Has anyone had this issue and if so what was the fix. Really don't have the money to send it to an automotive shop to get it fixed.

Not sure, but I think there is also a relay under the hood for the foglights, you could be missing that too.

I was just checking. I'm lazy and don't like reading the manual on anything so I found out the trial and error way.
I asked my dealer about this as I wanted to do it to mine
he said that I would have to bring it them when installed as they would have to hook there computer to it to tell the computer that the fog lights where there.

There is a relay for the fogs, I'm pretty sure. The factory fogs turn off when high beams are on and turn on when low beams are selected, if the switch is on. Thats how mine works, cant imagine they changed too much through the years.

There is a bit test you can do to the truck, I can't recall the procedure, but it turns on all the lights wipers, horn etc to function check. Seach function, or maybe somebody can post a link...

Thank you for the help, it was missing the relay. The accessory box that it goes in didn't have anything that said fog lights. Pap there was an open spot and the relay worked.
This is a long shot, but my fogs are not working in my 2010 could I be having the same problem? I have fogs factory installed and they previously worked.
You might also want to check the fuses, if they go out your fogs will not work either. Those are a lot cheaper then the relay.
