2 of my friends, one has an f-150 4.7 v8 and the other has a ford explorer truck 4. somethin v6.well They both liked my uprev and wanted one but there not for fords so I told the i'd ask on here being were all so friendly , what type of chip/tuner/programmer are some of the bests for these trucks? any suggestions? All know of the is the stuper chip the majority of the ppl get around here.

superchips crap it does almost nothing. Tell them to get a custom tune. Check out fordf150.net for more info.

the diablo chips are good for fords. i think they specialize in them

Superchips are no better or worse than any other "canned-tune". Diablo, Superchips, Hypertech, etc...off-the-shelf tunes are seldom a vast improvement compared to a true custom tune. Superchips Custom Tuning X-cal setups and Diablosport Predator are pretty much the popular options. I use a SCT 4-program flip-chip but those have lost popularity with the newer 3-program PCM reflash devices.
