Explain the slop you are talking about. Rotating slop, axial (in and out) slop? There's a circlip that holds each front axle shaft in the differential, if it comes off then your shaft will pull out. My 2010 SE probably has the same play your referring to. I haven't checked out yet to see why it's doing it. There is a small amount of in and out play only on my driver side front shaft. Passenger side is rock solid. I can't pull the shaft completely out though so the clip must still be there. Is yours similar?
