I have a 2008 Titan when I come to a stop it feels like the front end is moving slightly and I feel a slight clunk in the steering wheel and sometimes on the floor. I have 18500 miles on it. Any help would be nice.
There is a bulletin out now (NTB10-050) where they replace the front springs. I had mine at the dealer today and they confirmed the clunk and ordered the new springs.
Based on the bulletin, the front of the truck is about 1 inch lower after installing new springs. So, I am guessing the new springs might be compressed more after install which results in lowering of the truck. But maybe it is lower for some other reason?
