front diff leak on passenger side where the cv shaft bolts up with the half shaft, the half shaft does not have much In and out play... cant understand why it wont go into 4wd but will go into 4lo. It cant be the actuator because it will go into 4lo. Is there a relay or something for 4wd or is my half shaft not right? Im not understanding, im guessing the axle seal is bad but that wouldn't disable it to go into 4wd. please if anybody has any idea please help.

I would be looking at the transfer case if you have 4lo but not 4hi.
