This will be the second time i am having to replace the small axle shaft on my front diff passenger side....does anyone know if there is an upgraded c-clip and axle so this stops happening...or is there a bearing or seal inside the side of the diff that needs replacing too?

There is no C clip up grade. You can purchase a new one and try to stretch it out a Wee bit. However that is a non reliable fix. You are probably going to get an upgraded 2007+ diff. Not exact on that date but there is a redesigned one. I had the same problem as you.

If you are running any type of lift, it will contribute to your problem.
