Our front diffs are plenty durable, just don't abuse it while reversing. I would also suggest not modding it.

No. The front differential is open all the time. Like the rear if you don't have the e-locker engaged.

In other words, you'll only ever get three wheels fully engaged.

The front CV joints will bind when turning sharply in 4Hi or 4Lo but I get it a lot worse in 4Lo.

I've been in snow deep enough that I was up to the rocker panels. Engaged 4Lo and the e-locker. Only three wheels turned.

A 4x4 will bind while turning because there is nothing in the transfer to compensate for the different driveshaft speeds that you would encounter if it had something in there.
If the T was an awd you would have some type of center diff or clutches to allow full time 4x4 if needed, while having the ability to turn sharp when it's not needed.
That's the best description I can give you at 4am without my coffee.

If you want a more locked performance oute of an open diff you could try heavier diff fluid. It takes some slop out of the diff but makes it a little harder on the driveline. I did this on the front of mine and it fixed tge 3x4 problem.
