to day I had my front struts replace with Monroe quick struts I thought it would raise the front end 2 inches but it raised it over 5 inches the shop said every thing is a max capacity that I might get a bottom out if I hit a large bump it does ride stiff now also I might get a little wear on the outside of tires, he set it as close as he could. I have faith in these guys as for alignment. I made have to remove the spacer 1 1/2 in thick I read on here that a 2 in spacer would work so I went smaller . question can I remove the spacer by just in doing the top nuts and loosen the bottom bolt or do I need to rotate the strut 180 deg.. to line up the bolts without the spacer , maybe the new struts did raise the height some also has any one had the problem thanks for any info.

You will need to remove the strut and rotate 180. Even replacing the spacer you are going to most likely have issues, typically anything over 1.5" of lift on a 2wd or 2" on a 2wd is going to cause your Upper control arms to be maxed out. Removing the 1.5" thick spacer and not putting anything back in will drop you down about 3" which would be in the safe range (in most cases).

drove the titan today very hard ride can feel every bump so after work I removed the left side the bottom shock was in a bind hardest part of job was getting the bolt out , all together now. except tightened all lower bolts. will do other side in am. every thing went back together easy after removal of spacer will sell these spacers if I can. I guess one would need longer upper control arms to keep from having binding parts.
