Anyone have this issue? I have a ProComp 6" lift with upgraded PRG components throughout, with PRG 5/8" driveshaft spacer, and 4" blocks
in the rear. ONLY when I take off HARD from a standstill it looks like the front u-joint "prongs" at the tranny yoke are "thumping"
the underside of my cab, as the driveshaft twists under hard load for a second or two. Just started doing this at 130,000 miles.
First happened when I left a stop light with my trailer and hunting buggy in tow.

My pumpkin in the rear looks level. To get more of the front upper yoke into the tranny, I'm wondering if I need to drop down to 3" blocks in the rear.
When already in motion and slowing or accelerating, I have no vibrations or thumping. If I go down to a 3" block, I have the PRG SAW's in the front and
will just adjust them down 1" to level.

Thanks for any advice.

Mine did that when i purchased it (used). I could give it more than 30% throttle without rapping the driveline against the body.

Jack up the transmission a little and I bet your tranny mount is ripped. Mine was completely separated. I also have a 6" pro comp lift with spacer.

I replaced the mount pretty easily (DIY somewhere on this site). I also added traction bars to hopefully take some of the pressure of the mount in the future.

I will definitely check that. Thanks Carbonduc27!

I had a mount go out without a lift on the truck, replaced it and installed traction bars. Easy to replace, drop the crossmember, swap it out, and put the crossmember back in.
