actually, you still need to do the stupid pinch weld mod if planning for 37s. i'm gonna stick with these 35s for awhile but i will go 37s some time in the future.NorCal 4x4 said:Looks great! Bet you could fit some taller tires on, huh?
install is fairly easy and helps a ton to have the maker of the fenders installing them for you...SDTitan1 said:NIIICE! pretty amazing how quickly they were installed, look badarse!!!
LOL those pacificos gave me alot of energy!hooligan said:install is fairly easy and helps a ton to have the maker of the fenders installing them for you...i helped out though and while maxima619 was doing the more technical portions of the install i was doing all the unbolting and unscrewing...:jester: phew, thank god for the beers! i was exhausted!
cuz the new fender is wider... the OEM fender liner will not attach to any point on the new fenders because of that and just flaps around all loose so to prevent that flapping in the wind effect he cut it, which worked out great. but now that i'm having shock hoops installed it won't matter now, cause i have to yank them out.dragonhead08 said:why was he cutting up the fender liner?
How much trimming did the fenders need to bolt in nicely?cuz the new fender is wider...
i've thought of that... never got around to trying it. i believe DMZ made some fender liners that would fit the glassworks fenders and i'm guessing those would work with the FRP fenders.dragonhead08 said:Ive never seen these in person but would it be possible to use a fender liner from a scrapyard and use part of it to rivet to old liner to add an extension piece?
