FS: Street scene grille

LOCAL ONLY.

Got this from another member on here. Does not include necessary hard ware to install. Decided I like Chrome too much...lol. Good condition but sags. Painted all black. some chips in the paint can be seen in the pic. I called street scene to see how much the mounting hardware would cost and was told the hardware is about $7.00+ shipping. I think if you tell them you purchased from "X" website that carries the item then you might be able to get the hardware for free.. not 100% sure about that though.

Any way I'm selling the Grille for 55 bucks obo since you would need to purchase some sort of mounting hardware. LOCAL ONLY. Too much trouble to pack and ship.

Not real sure. I did not even mount it. I took off my factory one and just kinda sat the street scene grille in place and closed the hood. I then realized It would not mount with the factory mounting clips. I really don't even know what the sag means. Just going off of what the original seller posted when he had it up for sale.

Open up the posted pic, see how the top is all wavy? Thats what the sag is

So its looking like this might stay local. Shipping and packaging was ridiculous. They wanted 72 for shipping and 59 for packaging!!!

who is they? ive shipped bigger and heavier things (sub boxes) for way less lol

u can pick up a couple boxes and pool noodles (stuffing) from walmart for under $20. shipping shouldnt be more than say $30

UPS. Yeah I thought it was a little high. They weighed it at 20 lbs and said its because of the size of the box they would have to use.

I just send Karim a billet grille from San Diego to Houston. Packed it myself in a box 48"x12"x12" and sent it via USPS all for about $25 to include signature confirmation and insured up to $100.

Damn that's way cheaper. UPS was my first thought but I may have to go usps and find a box big enough.

I don't think it would be much less. I mean packaging was was 59 shipping was 72. I Checked on UPS.com just now using similar weight and dimensions they used at the ups store and it was about 52 bucks. when I entered the other zip code in cali it was about 73 bucks. So I was pretty close And in all honesty I don't have the time to be running around town hunting down boxes and packaging. I'm going to just keep it local. Sorry. I had no idea it was going to be so expensive. even with the cheaper shipping If I were to find a box and pack it up my self it woould still cost you 166 total they can be had for 139 free shipping on ebay. You would be paying more for mine anyway.

Hey, I'm just going to keep this local. No time to be trying to find boxes and such. I should have just put local from the get go but I did not think packaging and shipping would be so much. Sorry.
