There are three programmers out there for OEM headers that i know of, hypertech, bullydog and superchips(i am selling this one). There's several videos out there on youtube do a search. I had cold air kit with my superchips and aftermarket mufflers it was a nice little boost in performance on the 91 octane. i could barely feel the 87 tune.I have a 2008 Nissan Titan King it runs really good I have a aftermarket air box system on it and I would like to get a chip for more performance and possibly a shift kit has this is automatic so if anyone can be helpful with me that be great thank you
the overall drive improved, better gas pedal response. Overall it feels real nice on the 91 octane performane tune. Did you ever stomp on the gas pedal and feel a slight bog or hesitation? That is the WOT restriction that automotive manufacturers place in the tuning of the vehicles. This tune removes the WOT(Wide Open Throttle) restriction on your vehicle to give some good stomp and go. do a search for reviews on the cortex....i have seen many titans users. It deleted my trouble code for a bad catalytic converter, so i could pass inspection until got my JBA LT's with new cats.I'm not very knowledgeable about the Superchips Cortex. Can you tell me some of the improvements that it made while you were using it?
I am at work right now, i can get the model tonight...thanksHi I am interested.. Is it still available? Whats the model number? I have an 08.. want to make sure its compatible..
The model number is Cortex 4950, I went Amazon and it seems to be good for all Armadas, Titan and QX56, including Pathfinder and Frontier 4.0L. The superchips website does not show Cortex tuners on the website anymore, except in the updates area. There is a software update for the tuner.I am at work right now, i can get the model tonight...thanks
