I would be able to out run him backwards anyway. I can drive backwards better than most people can drive foward.

Oh my god! :huh: I was backing up hay trailers when I as 8 and this yahoo doesn't even know the basic concept of backing a trailer.

Well I can confess I'm not a whiz at backing up a trailer and I always laugh as my best friend and his wife show how it's done...

He gets into his 38' Scarab KV, starts the engine while his wife hops into the drivers' seat.

She then rips it into reverse down the ramp where one guy is on the dock on the right and another is on the dock on the left trying desperately to back their trailers into the water.

SPLASH as she roars into the water to float the Scarab off the trailer, puts it into drive and hauls a$$ into a parking space while my friend pulls up and away we go.

The other two guys are still trying to figure out just how much water needs to go under the boat before they can unhook their boats...:cheers:

I have been backing trailers/boats since I could first reach the pedals as a 13 year old. (I'm short) Anyway, my Father simply told me to put my hand at the bottom of the wheel and move it the direction that I want the trailer to go. Once I see it start to reach the middle of how much I needed it to turn to start turning the wheel the other direction. I have never had an issue with backing. However, short trailer like my 3-rail motorcycle trailer can be a PITA. I had it down with my old S-10, but my timing just isn't there in the Titan yet.

Obviousely, he had a defective trailer! By parking straight into his driveway, he can now get U-haul to send its mechanic out to fix it!
