gas mileage may have stayed the same for as long as any of us can remember BUT horsepower sure hasn't. I believe you could have your 22mpg easily if you were satisfied with the same output as compared to 20 or more years ago. Horsepower sells, so that's the direction the efficiency has gone in my opinion.

DAMNNNNNN, that's horrible Pluck, you may want to stop in at the dealer and see what's up. Sounds like something is wrong BIG TIME!!!! With my 3.36 rear gears I haven't seen anything less than 15 and I'm averaging 17+ overall. Mine is 2 wheel drive for reference because I'm not sure if yours is 2 or 4 wheels drive. Even if it is 4 wheel drive you should be getting around 14.
