Rancho shocked Titan is very comfortable: good handling and ride on the highway (just lousy gas milage)
off road was bumpy, even more so than the 2000 Wrangler Sahara

oh I wish i'd sprung for the automatic seat adjuster, doh

hmm don't remember, maybe 2.3k rpm...i'll check again.
yeah the MPG is LOW, but it's higher than the rest and the fastest 1/2 ton 4wd yet. ..no 4wd pickup under 6.1 liter engine gives this much power

titan gas milage with the 3.36 drive ratio

city driving i'm getting approx. 7 to 8 mpg.

on highway (flat road) at 70 mph, i'm seeing about 2100 rpm.

tbeecher: what final drive ratio does your titan have? (does it have the Offroad or Tow package)

yeah, maybe true...
i and my wife got only 8 to 13 mpg for the last few years on a California model 2000 v6 4.0L wrangler hardtop with the lower final drive ratio and 30x9.5 tires, but that sticker advertised 14 City/18 Hwy mpg.

that RF system must be really good stuff, cause my SE Popular packge 6 cd changer already sound good, at #31 volume

i'll get the RF next time (didn't want to wait around for weeks for the RF AND 4wd & Big Tow packages)
