So I have a 2004 Nissan Titan with the 3.36 gear ratio with a tru Trac lsd and im going to be trading it in for a 2011 with 2.94 gear ratio. So my question is what would I have to do the new truck to make the other diff I just had it fully rebuilt a few thousand miles and I don't want to loose it.

that is a crap load of labor to swap anything in or over to the 2011, and vice versa. even if it can be done.
The 2008+ axle`s assemblies are different, so I don`t exactly know what is compatible or not.

you`ll need to keep the 2.94`s in the 2011 unless it is only 2wd, then you can install what gear you`d like, but be warned you will lose the function of your cruise control. via trans output speed sensor.
Nissan has MANY ecu`s for the different models and years of the Titan. you simply can`t drop in a rear from another truck or drastically change parts in the 2011 without complications.

IMHO, the easiest thing to do is install a Spartan locker or TT to the new truck and call it a day. also do the vent mod, and check the E brake components before they cost you big dollars in an epic failure.

I don't mind tearing it up I've done it a few times I average 3 hours per side I'm not letting the stealership keep my 500 dollar headers lol. And I already have my uprev cable I'll just unmarry it from my truck and have Joe tune the new one.

The easiest thing to do is find one with a 3.36:1 ratio from Nissan. That being said, how much and how often are you towing?
