Hey guys I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread for some easy to answer audio questions to save us from having to sort through the flood of threads in the audio section. Please help keep this going by just posting up a quick question in here...nothing to hard but give some background info if you can....THAT BEING SAID......

I am getting a custom forward facing ported box built to house 2 10" JL W3s and I wanted to upgrade my speakers as well. Problem is all my cash is going to the box subs and sub-amp. I want to get speakers and an amp to power them at best buy ( so I can put on my card) but I dont want to buy cheapo stuff....what is the best stuff I can get from best buy and stay around a $500budget?

Yeah I say go with Alpine, its the best they have.

I say find a friend or coworker that will use your credit and give you back cash. That way you can get more bang for your buck

Maybe post it here on TT. Someone here must be in your area and want a new TV.

If I were to go to an audio shop how much should I expect to pay?
