You might need to pull back the carpet and paddings before you can see it.

Getting wire from inside - outside?
I can't seem to figure out where to run the wire from my tranny temp gauge to the sensor. I read up on the thread and can't find either of the locations mentioned.
I'd like to run it down someplace through the passenger side as that's the side the sensor is on. Someone mentioned running it along side the AC drain tube... but I sure as hell can't find any tube! LOL. I have an '04 XE KC. Can someone snap a picture or explain to me where this tube is that will allow me to run my wire from the inside to the outside of the truck?

There is a rubber grommet visible from the outside (and behind the rear pass seat). Look between the bed and the cab on the pass side (and driver's side I believe). I used it for the tailgate lock mod and my rear view camera mod.

You need to lay down the passenger floor and feel for the rubber hose where it goes thru the firewall. You can see it if you put a light to it. :cheers:
