I traded out my glove box light with an LED and noticed that it didn't work. At first I thought it was the LED so I replaced it with the bulb and that didn't work either.

I also tried couple of other bulbs and LEDs and nothing works. My next thought is a fuse but I can't find one that's out. I have a hard time believing just the glove box light is fused but yet, I don't find anything else that doesn't work.

Any ideas? Anyone know what fuse the glove box light is on or have any other ideas as to why the glove box doesn't light up?

Well, I know more now. I discovered that the lights for the radio and gear shift don't work either. I checked all the fuses inside and found no bad ones. I guess that means it's either something outside under the hood or elsewhere.

I'd really hate to go to the dealer for something as simple as a bad fuse.

I haven't checked the fuses under the hood and I noticed all the other lights were out when I was driving at night.

I do know that the headlights/running lights have to be on for the glove box light. The light was on and while futzing with the light socket, the lights went out and never came back on.

It's gotta be a fuse someplace as the original bulb doesn't work either.

Found it. It was the illumination fuse (10A) under the hood. What a royal PIA!

Anyway, the new LED is bright.

I actually have the same exact problem with all of my interior illumination lights not working after installing an aftermarket radio. I have a 2014 Nissan sentra. What vehicle do you have and where exactly did you locate your illumination fuse? There are 2 fuse boxes under my hood. A smaller box and a larger engine fuse box that also contains relays.

hey @Key , this is the titan forum so he is in a truck. i would check your smaller box first. it will probably have the fuses and not the relays and i imagine that is where the one you are looking for will be
