I'll check but it was mostly dust not dirt.
Well there is no caked mud and all the weights are on all the rims. As I drove it another day its not so much a vibration but a rough ride. And it kinda feels like its coming from the rear end. I dont know but hopefully a wheel balance and alignment fix this problem. I did buy the coilovers used, could they need to be revalved?bigjimbo said:check for caked mud on the rims...do you have stick on weights? I've had those fall off on my last truck...
My next move is to have my buddy drive it and see WTF is the problem. Its a vibration but sometimes it feels like the suspension is just blown are not working right. And the strangest part was it rode normal for 150 mi with my bike loaded up and then it started this when I unloaded the truck. So I think its the front since less weight was on it on my way home. Maybe I bent a control arm or spindle or hub. Hopefully I can find out win I get an outside view.PrerunnerGreg said:Shocks and alignment will not "cause" a vibration. An imbalace will. Its probably your tires. Did you tag the driveshaft with anything? is the vibration fast...like the drivline before the diff, or slower like in relation to the tire speed. Does it happen in every gear? Rotate your tires and see if it goes to the front. Have a buddy drive next to you on the highway and see if he sees anything unusual. Depending on how bad you smashed the front, you may have a tire that is starting to seperate. Again...rotate tires to isolate the problem. Or put the stockers back on and see if it goes away.
