I've been reading on this thread for a little bit now:

I was gonna go by what the OP did to make his. But one of the main (possibly dumb :huh questions that I had was; since my truck is my everyday ride, how would I be able to unmount all the tires from the rims to do this? Only thing I can think of is just take off the tire/wheel straight from the truck and do my best to sand and spray it while still being mounted...:ftard:

thats what most do, but I was lucky I found a member here selling his rims cheap

I put my truck on jackstands, pulled the wheels off of the truck and sanded all four, cleaned the rims, and masked the valve stem and around the tire. It's a very simple process. Take your time in the prep work and you'll be ok. I left my tires on and you can't even tell that I did.

mines an everyday ride too.. but if you got nuthng to do and have a weekend free (like if a government shutdown was pending..haha) then jack it up and make a day or two of it... ive just finished spraying 2 about 30mins ago....looks ****in swizeet!!:redblob"
