Hello, new to the forum. I did a quick search and didn't get any results to my question if there is a good, trustworthy, affordable mechanic in San Antonio.

I do most of the maintenance myself but am swamped at work and need to replace all the drive seals on my 2005 4x4 Titan, they are all leaking from the front pinion seal to the transfer case output shaft. I don't pay the stealership for mx that can be done by myself or another competent mechanic.

Anybody out there have a goto mechanic they trust in San Antonio?

Thanks.

R&N Garage off Thousand Oaks Dr. When we lived there we always took our cars to him. Family owned, Nancy and Rob are the owners and both are very nice. Tell them Russell Z referred you! He is into Nissan's. Has a 240 with sr20det swap himself.

Thank you Russell. I'll check R&N. Hard to find a good mechanic, I appreciate the heads up.

I had the dealership (Ingram Nissan) do one job on my 05 since I've been here in SA and they messed it up. They replaced the exhaust manifolds under warranty and when I went to pick it up they had an Armada wheel on my front left and forgot to put the dipstick back in. Incompetence.

3 years later I thought they were leaking again so I bought some Doug Thorley headers because I was done messing with OEM manifolds and their cracking. Come to find out they were good. The heat shields were falling off because multiple bolts were missing. The exhaust manifolds were loose due to multiple bolts being finger tight or backed out and to top it off two of my engine mount bolts were about ready to fall out because they had backed out so much.

Thanks again to you and Titan Talk!

Jeremy
