Got an out of the blue compliment...

from a chevy guy!

The other night I was on my way home just minding my own business. I pulled into a gas station near my house, get out, and just as I'm undoing the gas cap, I hear someone say excuse me from the other side of the pump. I look over and it is this guy in a Monte Carlo SS. He was driving next to me on the road for quite a way (I remember, because I really dug the blue color of the car). Anyway, he asks me if I have headers on my truck. I said no, just a performance muffler. He said he really liked the sound of it, that's why he was riding next to me all along, just to listen to my exhaust! After that, he left. So it wasn't like he was even getting gas or anything. He followed me in to the station just to see what I had! Made my night. Of course now it makes me want to get some headers though:upsidedow :upsidedow :upsidedow

May also want to get an alarm system and possibly download "How to prevent stalking" from the web!

 That's pretty cool that he'd go out of his way and all. I've done that in parking lots but never chased anyone down to talk about their vehicles!
I know, I was kinda weirded out at first, but then I saw his wife/girlfriend in the passenger seat and felt a little better!!LOL!
Let me tell you, at the pumps, i've gotten both Ford and Chevy owners asking me about the truck, and complimenting it...

Usually truck owners...

Ditto. it makes you feel pretty good too.
That's always cool man. Makes your day in a way right?

I have a smiliar story..

I have the only lifted Titan that I have seen where I live. If I go out for a drive I will see atleast 5 lifted f250's over 15" of lift. That's no exaggeration either. It's really exhausting to see the same type of trucks lifted again and again. So whenever I'm at a stop light or gas station, it's almost routine now to get a compliment on the truck from regular drivers. It's always awesome to hear people saying that. I guess I'm the only person who dares lift a truck around here that isn't in the big 3.
