Yup, just on my way to a friends, pulled up on the side of this bmw, 325i i think it was, oh yeah I had a split rim in 2 places so I had my fullsize spare on which lightened me up to have about 20 more hp, haha j/k
but the light turned green and he tried stayin in front me so we both just WOT and I started pulling him. I have this magazine and it shows the titan is faster than a few bmw's. Its a book that showes alot of vehicals and there 0-30 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, I studied it pretty hard lol

Just a little correction... BMW doesn't make V6 engines. ;)

For a truck, stock for stock, the Titan is quick.

Consumer reports cannot drive.

I have both a Titan and an 06 325. My 325 is a 6 speed manual and trust me the titan just gets smaller in my rearview. Stock anyway. And on the highway....come on. FWIW Car and Driver got a low 6 second to 60 and like 14.8 1/4 at 94 for the o6 325 manual. Thats a solid 5 mph faster in the 1/4 than a stock titan...........you do the math....

Let me tell you one thing. I have raced my BMW, while my brother was driving it. All BMWs have a lag when you floor it; I think its a safety thing. I raced it from a stop, I pulled, kept with it throught second gear, then the BMW pulled hard. THe BMW was a 550i

I bet the 0-60 and 1/4 times above were for the automatic 325. That will make quite a big difference. I have no doubt a manual 325 will be quicker than the auto, but you can't say the auto will also be faster than the Titan unless you've tried it. ;)

I'd hope a 550 could beat a Titan with ease, that would be pretty embarrassing if it couldn't.

My neighbor has an SRT10 that is in the ballpark. I think quick is 5.2 to 60 or less. My Titan sounds great when you punch it, but quick it is not.

Keep it real, its a full size truck. A nice one that IMO is a great driving truck as well, but it isn't nor is it intended to be "quick". Even with a supercharger most sports sedans will still pull it with ease.

The bottom line is the Titan it is a "TRUCK" designed for utility. A sport sedan is built for speed and handling. No contest.
