New member to the site but have been here many times reading and looking around at the great amount of info. Finally decided to join for the most part to say thank you to everyone for all the heads up info.

Recently I picked up a Titan and started looking through the threads here and noticed the issues w/ transmission lines on the early Titans and found that the lines on mine were ready to go. So I replaced them and while I was there added an extra cooler.

So thanks to all..

For sure! I agree w/ you there as I would like to do a series of upgrades to the truck. Though as of right now I believe that the previous owner has taken some of the normal problem areas and absorbed their financial brunt. :)

It looks as though the exhaust from the manifolds has been changed. As well the rear end looks to have had the improved cover installed and when looking up the vin has some available service records that mention installation of True Trac.

So as much as I would love to install a cat less exhaust (Kansas resident piss on smog :-}) and uprev, I believe I will get the goodie out of what is installed on the truck so far.

I guess I could give a little info on the truck:

2005 4x4 SE King Cab Metallic Black appears to be bone stock had no receiver hitch when I purchased it. Has 2.93gears column shift with the 40 20 40 bench which I love as I like to have my wife and child w/ me up front when we are out and about. Odo had around 93,000 at time of purchase.
As of recent I have installed a receiver hitch, brake controller changed out all my fluids except brake, added an external transmission cooler, and put on Cover King seat covers which were I thought at the time were damn expensive but now believe after having them for a while have added much to the comfort of the seat which is worth a lot IMHO

Future updates in my dream world include a front leveling kit, shift kit, build some stainless step bars and either a custom bumper or at very least a push bar up front and a custom bumper in the back. Like I say the exhaust and uprev are very much desired but it is unjustified at this time as the exhaust appears brand new.
I have also been looking at CAI's but I just have my doubts that they are adding very much to the benefit of the truck. I live several miles out in the country on gravel roads and in dusty conditions and as such am very leery as to the quality of job of filtration that most gauze filters perform. Many independent articles I have read on such filters suggest that the filters initially pass more particles through them until somewhat saturated w/ dirt. So until do a bit more research I believe I will just keep a clean stock air cleaner in the truck.
If anyone here has any good insight into the CAI issue I would love to hear it.
Or any other opinions on leveling kits or beneficial additions to this truck for that matter I am all ears.

Thanks again
Eric

You can still get Uprev if you wanted by itself and when you add or change a mod it could be retuned. I am also wanting a shift kit for mine I been eye balling the transgo one for a month now but money tight. Soon enough though
