Halo Projector Headlights + Led Color Shift rings

Im wondering if its possible to add the halo colorshift (red/green/blue/etc.) to an aftermarket headlight that has halo rings (i was going to get spyder projectors with the ccfl upgrade 6000k crystal white HIDs)

So basically can you stack them by putting the colorshift ring just outside of the white halo ring to produce the effect?

Has anyone thought of doing this or done it before? Or is this a silly idea?

Why not just replace the ccfl ring with the color change ring?

IMO it's a silly idea like kes said why not replace it entirely with colorshift halos? First things first you will need to figure out what size ring you will need. I would tear them open go head and yank the regular halos of and get a good mesurment in inches and convert that to milimeters and whala you have your ring size.

How hard would it be to rip out the ccfl ring? And if im just going to do that is it worth getting the ccfl upgrade just to rip it out? probably not huh?

I had my aftermarket headlights with halos replaced with colorshift rings. I had Oracle do it because I did not know the sizes of rings that I needed. I told them to remove the stock CCFL's and add the rings as best they could. They just mounted them to the old place, almost perfectly with glue and they are holding up well. The only problem is some of the accented paint peeled off inside (from the original headlight's handiwork) and makes it look like I did a half-a** job. I will get that fixed eventually, but don't have the time. If you need some more pictures, let me know. Here are some that I had on my computer.

Those look great! and that's exactly what I'm looking to do. A few other questions, how do you control what color they are, what colors can you pick from, are they bright enough to see at night with or do you use your headlight beams with them too? and do you have a pic of them in the daytime i could see? Thank you sir!

Colors on rgb (multi-color) halos are controlled from a wireless rgb remote to give the optin to choose colors, strobe patterns, fades ect..I can't directly post a link to the site that a friend of mine runs but if you pm me I'll be more than happy to assist you is selecting a product
These are SUPER bright I had a set on a pair of headlights I built. These are on a ford and my titan.
