I am going to purchase a 2004 titan xe 4wd 2 door on friday. I noticed the front sits lower than the back. I've read that you need a 2 inch leveling kit to make the truck level. However I would like to lift the truck somewhere around 3 inches... so basically I want it 3 inches higher after it's leveled. What is the cheapest way for me to do this. I am a newbie so take it easy on me.

Easiest way is for you to get a 3" spacer up front (about $60 for billet aluminum spacer on ebay, dont waste money on name brand, they're all made the same. Just make sure its billet aluminium), next you'll need Upper Control Arms or UCAs as theyre commonly referred to as. These will run you about $250-$300 for a cheap pair from rough country (not saying that RC is cheap in quality but its just the cheapest that is offered for our trucks, still an overall good UCA, especially with the updated versions). I would not spend money on cheap UCAs from ebay as these are pretty much responsible for keeping your suspension attached to your truck so you don't want to cheap out. Thirdly, you can grab a billet aluminum 1" spacer for the rear. Same deal, ebay is ok with these just make sure its BILLET aluminum. Any higher in the rear and you'll be needing some more components that it would be cheaper for you to just get a 6" kit from rough country. Hope that helps.

You could piece together a kit if you want but the rc kit is fine.

I have the rc 3 inch kit. It's really about 2.5 inches. I've had mine on my truck since 2009. It comes with everything you need for around 300 bucks. Also I would look in to getting some 2008+ pro 4x coil springs. That will add you .5 inches more lift.

Word to the wise, do not go over 3 inches. It's bad on the cv axles and our front diffs are bad about breaking on the driver side under too much stress.

The 3 inch kit levels the truck on the 04-07s. Gave me about a half inch higher in the front. The pro 4x will fit any year Titans. They are stiffer than the early model Titans so they give more lift. The local shop I used to put mine on the last time said they were a little longer.

Also since your looking at an 04, if your running 12 year old struts I would get some new ones. Worn out struts will make your truck sag as well.

Here is my pro 4x springs and bilstein 4600s hd struts. Went with them since I had the rc kit Coil spring Auto part Suspension part Suspension Shock absorber

You would have to get new ones. Don't go cheap with Monroe or rancho. Get bilsteins they are not much more per shock. Got mine on eBay for 130 for the set.

I'm running 305 65 18s falken Wild peaks/ Rocky Mountains (same tire) which are 33.6 inches tall, 12 inches wide.

My wheels are mb razors I got on clearance at discount tire. 18 by 9 with a zero offset. Stick out about 2 inches from the truck

You can get new shocks of you want. Or you can wait. I'm still on my oem rears. As far as 4600s. I got them since I'm not going to need adjustable struts with my kit since 3 inches is as far as I can go with out a bracket lift. You can use the 5100s but you can't use them to lift your truck with the rc lift. So they would be set on the bottom setting which has no lift
