Anyone in the Austin area that has installed some long tube headers on there Titan? I have the bolts and jba headers but was going to tackle this job on my own just seeing if there is any other Titan dude out there willing to help or lend some advice! Thanks.

I just did this - its really nice having two people if nothing else for one to grab tools, jack up the motor while you watch, etc.. I'm in Tennessee though..

However - if you take your time and stay calm (it can get frustrating trying to reach bolts or get those &#$$ heat shields out) you could tackle it by yourself.

The biggest thing that helped was loosening the 4 motor mount bolts that go into the motor all the way out and then putting them back in a few turns. Only do this one side at a time then jack up the motor so that side raises up as far as those bolts will allow. After doing that it went super easy.

I recently did this job on a RWD titan. I was able to do the passenger by myself.

For the driver side, we did it with 2 people and were able to crack every nut loose from the engine bay. Remove the intake tube out of the way. Have 1 person above to wrench and the other person in the wheel well making sure the socket seats tight on the nut.

Whatever you do make ABSOLUTELY SURE you use ONLY Nissan OEM metal gaskets on the headers
