Took 2 of us less then 2 hours to take off my Nismo headers and put OEM's back on...And really, only one of us was working steadily, and it wasn't me lol
Im serious, if all goes well it'll take me less than 4 by myself due to all the prep work Ive done:)

You think i can run my titan with open headers because the muffler shop is about 15 miles away from the machanics
I would have it towed you will get a ticket if you drive by a cop.

Just read the entire thread and Misfit you have my sympathies. I tried to replace the entire exhaust system on my Ranger this weekend (JBA shorties, Magnaflow cats, Gibson cat-back). Everything was rusted on. Got the cats and cat-back (cut) off and then had enough time to get the new cats back on - nothing downstream of that. My son drove it to school today. He went easy on the gas but I'm sure he still woke up most of the neighborhood. My wife said it rattled the windows. PB Blaster was my close friend. One entire large bottle gone. Bought two more. I'll be at it again this weekend.

So yes, it can be driven without the cat-back exhaust, but it should be a short trip with very little acceleration. Without cats? That's going to be worse.

I drove my cammed Hemi Ram open headers for weeks in Dallas Fort Worth area. I was always a little nervous when I would pull up next to a cop, but I drove easy on the pedal with them around and even though it was loud it never drew enough attention to get me stopped.
