Jba prices for their 1-3/4 headers for the first gen will be better suited for every one who wants headers that don't want to spend a 1000 or so.

Cory (or Jeff), any time line from JBA on their new headers with 1 3/4" primaries? Sounds encouraging. Thanks.

I would say 60-90 days until we will see the NEW 1 3/4" Long Tube and Mid-Pipe for the 04-2015 Nissan Titan.

Dustin

Any word on a group buy for these?

Guys I hate to say it but the JBA headers we have now are making 20-25hp same as AFE is claiming with those $1500 headers. Hmmmmm

I hear you, I imagine that would be with the stock cams?
I will be adding CS2 cams to my truck in the next year or two, so I just feel I would benefit.

The guys who will want the 1-3/4 x 3'' are the ones who are using forced induction, nitrous or even adding cams and so on.

There is nothing wrong with the current JBA 1-5/8 x 2.5'' headers for 99% of the Titan owners whether its for performance or most importantly a budget friendly solution to fixing those bastard OEM cracked manifolds.

There will need to be dyno testing on stock and modded Titans comparing both JBA 1-5/8 x 2.5'' vs 1-3/4 x 3''. This stuff takes time and money.

probally was just my luck, but for the price and having a welder at the shop. I was still happier than a kitten with tuna sprinkled with catnip! :eek_surprise:

Yes, I did roll on my back and juggle the new header with my hands and feet before install :)

I am on the same page JB, Even with boost I don't see any significant results unless the exhaust side of the head is flow match ported. Flow is flow and the bottleneck is the head.:nerd:

Hello friends, Im a new member with exciting and important news to share. I decided it was time to make performance a priority for my 2005 crew cab LE 2wd. I had the JBA shorty headers installed some years ago due to the cracked OEM exhaust manifolds. I began my research to find the best parts available for a fair price because I wanted a completely new exhaust system. Also the OEM exhaust was nasty because only the manifolds were replaced. On my own, with no help or advice or opinions from any forum mind you.I stumble across Cajun B pipes company, and Jeff the Titan exhaust guru explained and shared with me the latest and greatest performance exhaust system upgrades! He also stipulated and stressed the importance of the "package deal" Yes my brothers I'm talking about the one and only powerful and mighty UPREV Tuning!!!! I just finished working with these fine gentleman, and I'm "happy happy happy"! To put it lightly. They are professionals in the business and have a damn good product to sell you and teach you to understand the importance of this upgrade. I'm sorry, yes it's a little expensive, but worth every penny. Just starting up my Titan puts a smile on my face , and wait till you mash down the gas pedal! This is serious business, you gotta be all in or don't do it. No room for shortcuts boys. Buy one section at a time like I did, and stay focused on the final process of the project. JOE at UPREV will bring it home for ya'll. Cajun B Pipes/Cajunuprev tuning are the carriers of the most precious Titan mail. Guess what,,,, cause they DELIVER. Life is too short to wait for your OEM exhaust manifolds to Crack. If you have money to sit on 2 sets of headers you are missing out on enjoying your Titan like you could be. You can't say that I don't know what I'm talking about either because my family and I have been drag racing and building and enjoying hot rods for 4 decades. Every thing we own or have owned gets high performance mods. From lawn mowers to grocery getters to dirtbikes. And put your money where your mouth is ,every city has a local drag strip and time slips don't lie brothers. Heads up racing racing weeds out the Bull****. Thanks for listening. Hope you chose properly

Here are the Kooks 1-7/8" x 3" headers for the VK56VD found in the Patrol/Qx80/ Armada and new Titan. It as been verified these headers do fit in the new Titan.

American Racing Headers, also for the VK56VD in the new Titan/ Patrol/Armada and QX80. These come in 1-3/4x 3'' or 1-7/8 x 3''

And... for the VK56DE 1st gen titan and armada guys... AFE POWER is now making headers for us... Supposedly wont be ready until next month.

aFe POWER 48-46107-YN Twisted Steel Header & Connection Pipes; Race Series | aFe POWER

Looks like there are some harness extensions in these pics...

Lastly, JBA is going to be making a 1-3/4 Header for the 1st Gen Titans as well.

So.. NO... Doug Thorley isn't the best option for the VK56DE nor the VK56VD.
Damn, gonna make me spend like $2000 on the new Armada before it's got 2k miles on it with porn like this...

I have question.
I got new magnaflows headers with California cats. I let mechanic install them for me and half year later they cracked. Call amazon and requested refund. I found nice long tube JBA and Flowtech headers without cats and was planning to get it but now I'm totally confused. On website said you gain horsepower and now I see lots of post that you have to get your truck tuned. Can someone tell me exactly what to look for or do. I'm in Cali but planning to use my truck simply off road, towing trailer on property, hunting doing crazy stuff but want it run as best i can...
Where do you get your tune up after and are the shops going to do it if no cats installed
