IMO, the Stillen LT's are better, but require relocating the cats and a bit more work in that department to remain emissions legal. Although, I have recently learned that both require welding, and since you are planning new cats anyways, I'd say go Stillen! You'll be mating it with a great exhaust and good intake, so you'll probably feel a good bit of power. With all you're doing, I would really consider Uprev tuning to bring out the best of it all!
If I don't require cats are stillen headers the preferred exhausts? I'ma get those outta there. I live in the plains of OK. I don't think we are required to have cats here?

Anyone? Anyone? :smoke:

Don't know about OK. Florida is one that doesn't require yearly inspections, and there are other states similar. Check your local laws, ask a mechanic, or a used car salesman. They should know. Not running cats is going to be a loss of some back pressure, and our engines looooooooooooove back pressure, so be careful. You might end up losing some bottom end torque.

I think it's against Federal law to touch CATs. But if no one is there to look...then no one knows.

I nkow everyone is on the Stillen train........but the Titan don't run bad at all with short tubes.

My truck has the 2nd fastest non-cammed 2004-2006 like motor track time posted...and it's running short tubes.
If you think of the exhaust as a system and not an unrelated group of parts you are half way to having good performance from the system. I prefer the Nismo headers for a lot of reasons I won't go into here but one of them is equal length primaries.
The JBA are fine also and nothing to be scoffed at but I prefer to have my cats separated from the headers.
I also prefer to run cats partially for noise abatement and partially for proper computer function with the stock O2's.
If you size the remainder of your piping for your power needs and utilize a flow through muffler design and not pick something just because you like the way it sounds, you will do fine performance wise with any header as long as you can tune for them with UpRev.

I had a wolf for a pet once. He was nice as a pup, but after he was about a year old it was a dog kennel or 37 cents.
I went with the JBA header but I'm going something a little different in my setup after the install is done ill make a post and pics :D Also in OK we don't have vehicle inspections so if you wanna run cat less you can but your gonna need some emulators to take care of the CEL.

Yeah, im not sure if i can get some Stillen long tubes for my 08 Titan Pro4x, but thats what i want.. I ordered a Gibson dual in, dual out muffler the other day, awesome price, its on there garage sale section on there website rite now, $75!!! they wont ship to Canada though, so a distributor from Canada is getting them for me, abut cheaper...and 2 Gibson tips.. Having troubles finding the top of the line performance headers, I think Stillen is the way to go though, This distributor called Stillen, and I guess they're coming out with new line of headers in about 2-3weeks.. is this correct..?
We aren't changing the design of the header but we are working on a B-pipe that will bolt in a set of hi-flow cats right behind the headers. This will eliminate the CEL problem with the 07-08 Titans.

We should have the first production batch in the next week or two.

That's very good news for people wanting a DIY installation and I paid 100.00 labor to have my Bpipes welded up.

What size(s) (diameter) will the Bpipes be offered in?

Also, would the Bpipes fit any make of LT headers or only Stillen's?
i dont have pics of my truck but im running nismo intake headers and exhaust...thinking of going to the stillen model just so the CEL will turn off. I am really happy with my upgrades but it made me want more...im thinking of a super charger.

I would wait until you do a supercharger. If you are worried about the CEL, there are a few threads on CT explaining how to get rid of them. Not sure if they are on here or not. Also, try messaging Papa_D. I think he has been tied up with personal matters though; it may take a few days for a response.

There are 2 people that have some good projects going on for FI. Wait and see how they turn out first.
