so this weekend was really nice, i put my summer wheels on and installed my Bushwackers (sweet) i waxed and polished her and detailed the interior, i also got a drop hitch and put that on as well. So i thought id do the Headlight mod over the weekend. I looked how to remove the headlights on TT and watched some vids on youtube. It looks pretty east to remove the headlight but i could not get it! I took out the 2 8mm bolts in front the 1 8mm on the bottom and the 1 10mm on the side but i could not get the light out of the truck. is there any tricks or something? did anyone else have this problem?

thats crazy cause i didnt have any problems like that on my 05. just removed the grille and 4 bolts and it came out easily.

hmm, i could not for the life of me get it out. it was getting wedged between the top of the fender and the top of the light. wtf? haha

I had a slight problem with this as well. Just have to work with them till you find the right angle to get them out. Took me about three hours from start to finish.

ahh, it looks so easy! i quit because i started to scratch the top of the light and i broke a clpi from the filler piece at the bottom of the light.
