Anyone mess around with the headlight strobes?

I believe that's Helinut1970's truck. He hasn't been on here for a bit but he does check in every so often. Here's where he talks about it.

When I worked for the Emergency Management Agency, I had a pair installed in my Titan. They were wired to a switch in the overhead console that also controlled a roof light and rear seat lights. It was no big deal to drill out a small hole in the headlight where they were inserted. If you really want to do it, remember it is illegal to have them unless you are a member of law enforcement or something, contact Galls for a good set. They also have wiring diagrams.

I live in Az,and I see construction trucks and others use them here.....Im probly not going to cruise down the Hwy flashing them....Thanks for the info.

Anyone know what watt is good...I see EBAY with 20w, 60w, and 100w

I don't believe they are illegal here in California (big surprise, I know!), unless you display red or blue. Lots of private contractors use them on their work trucks, usually white or yellow/amber. I believe you have to be parked/stationary to use them, just like when you use your emergency flashers.

I have a 90 watt 6 strobe kit brand new I purchased it back in October. I just never got around to having it installed. PM me if you are interested in it. I forgot to mention that the strobes are clear and the controller is multiple pattern.
