Has anyone had issues with their AC/Heat? Most of the time now, I can have the truck on AC at 70 with Auto off and it is blowing pretty hot air. I turn it down to 65 and it’s cooler but not as cool as it should be. It’s around 48 degrees outside so I can’t see that being a problem. Not sure what the issue is.

It's because it's 48deg outside. The auto climate reads the temp in the cab and the exterior temp, and tries to modulate the incoming air to make the cab the temp you set. If you want a 70deg cab, and it's 48deg out, you need warmer air.

I just took mine in for the same problem. Dealer told me it's a bad sensor that's always at 36 degrees so it's constantly trying to heat the cab. There is no service manual for the truck is what I was told so they are keeping the truck for a week while they talk to a Nissan engineer on how to replace it. They need to take apart the entire dash, needless to say I'm pissed after only 600 miles.

The service manual is available on nissan-techinfo.com go here and select Titan 2017 it'll come up, you can buy it on CD or buy a subscription to view it online

Your dealer can diagnose a bad temp sensor but can't find a service manual on their own company's website?

I took mine to the dealer last Friday because setting the temperature at 18 would blow cool air but setting it at 18.5 would blow hot air like if you set it to the maximum and they did fix it, apparently they replaced a hose. I need to look at the paperwork when I get home and give you more specifics

Update: Took it in to the dealer on Monday the 11th and got a call back saying the sensor was fixed on the 19th. They first called me the 19th saying they would probably have the truck another week or so. I asked who I should talk to at Nissan corporate about this problem and they give me the number. I then got a call back an hour later saying they suddenly fixed the problem. I had to pick it up after service was closed but I got in the truck and the problem was still there. As soon as I turn it up to 62 degrees it's hot air. Took the truck back first thing the next morning and now they are going to replace the entire heater unit. I've driven the truck about 500 miles and had it for 2 weeks and it's been in the shop for 2 weeks. I haven't place a call to Nissan yet, thinking about doing that today.

Ugh. I'm having the same issue now that it is cold. 61 degree setting blows cold and 62 blows hot/ Its basically heat on or off. Keep us posted.

Did you ever get a chance to look at your paperwork? I'm interested to know what hose they replaced to correct this issue?

The dealer replaced the entire heater unit but I'm still having the same problems (on top of the check engine light for the front active shutters that got replaced as well as the dealer trashing my new interior). AC is ice cold at 60 and 61, blows warm at 62 unless the outside temp is warm. Drove the truck a few hours with the outside temp in the low 50's and it's either warm in the cab or you will freeze your butt off if you drop it to 61. The loaner Murano they gave me does the same thing so I googled it and apparently they've had this problem for a few years with many of their vehicles. I'd be curious to know how many of your titan's do the same thing. Trying to get a new truck or a buyback at this point, but if they all do it then I will look elsewhere for a truck. Had my last titan for 11 years with zero problems, this one has been in the shop since Dec 11th except for 4 days. If any of you guys could try this and report back it would be much appreciated.

Hey, I’m sorry, I haven’t got to it yet, we are away on vacation, when I get back home next Tuesday I’ll post a screenshot of the paperwork I got

Would you be able to post this up? Still dealing with nissan, now the dealer says this is normal.

Sounds typical with Nissan. I have had my truck for almost a year now and its still ongoing with warranty issues. First 3 months I had 100% confidence in Nissan's service end but after that has gone way down to just about NIL. Good luck on the heater issues.

I went to the Nissan dealer this morning to check out other vehicles to see if they did the same thing and all the ones with a digital temp system did the same thing (tried 3 titans and one maxima). The base models with knobs slowly adjust the temp as it should. It's been in the 50's around here and when going on longer drives there is no comfortable setting , the cab just warms up to about 80. I think it's ridiculous that these vehicles come with this kind of system. All other cars I have been in gradually adjust the temp. How has this not been addressed by Nissan seeing as this has been going on for years?

Mine does the same thing. There is no warm setting, either cold or hot. I haven't had my dealer look at this issue yet. My first thought was it was a bad blend door, it can only direct full cold or full hot air, nothing in the middle.
