I have a 2017 Titan with heated outside mirrors that are supposed to be on with the rear window defroster switch.

Each outside mirror has a little defroster icon in the corner. I am wondering if this icon is a light to show when the heated mirror is on? Similar to the collision avoidance light.

I have not seen any indication in the documentation that this occurs, but it seems like it should?

Does anyone know if this icon on the mirror is supposed to light up when defroster is on?

It doesn't light up. It's a branding thing, to show that you have heated mirrors.
