My factory fogs on my 05 LE crew cab have seen better days. I'm thinking of installing hella optilux 1300's. They should fit in the factory spot easily but I'm wondering if the 55w would be too much for the factory switch? Thanks guys.

I think the stock bulb is either 27 or 38 watts. I don't know what the max wattage is for the stock harness.

If it were me, I would run them off a relay and use the stock harness as the switch wire to activate the relay.
