Hello I have a 08 Nissan titan v8. I have been having trouble with it starting. It would do good for a couple weeks and then it wouldn't start at all. I ended up having to turn the key over alot of time's until it finally started. We been thinking it might be the starter wire not getting a good connection or something but not sure. Can someone please help me try and figure it out if you know anything about it. I'm a mom and I do all the work on my truck myself cause I can't afford to take it to the shop.

First things, first. Check the battery terminal connections. If they look corroded, remove the terminals from the battery posts, clean everything up well, reinstall, and coat the outside with a good dielectric grease or coating made for battery terminals. If they look pretty much OK, but dirty, do the same thing - you may find a thin layer of corrosion under the terminals.

If the battery terminals don't have anti-corrosion felt washers under them, pick up a set (they are inexpensive) at your local auto parts store, and put them over the battery posts before you reassemble the terminals on the posts. They help prevent future corrosion problems.

Then, if the problem persists, proceed with other checks. Good luck!

I believe it might be your battery. I bought my 10 Titan, drove it about 2 weeks. Everything was good. Got up to go to work the next day, hit the key and allI got was that awful clicking sound. Battery was shot. I replaced it that day. That was 2 years ago. Everything is still perfect. Starts like a new one.
