Hey yall! I'm new to the forum and new to Titans.
A couple months ago I decided it t was time to get rid of the old car. It was going down hill quickly, I was simply waiting for the day it reached the bottom and left me stranded. I began looking at Jeeps, I miss my 98' TJ terribly, but having kids (for me) demands 4 doors. The hassle and frustration saved is well worth it in my opinion. I love jeeps, but they come with a price tag that I just couldn't justify. So I began looking at other SUV's and pickups. SUV's went to the wayside pretty quickly as I began camping trips, plans for working on my house, and my lifestyle in general. I was looking at Toyotas, but had trouble finding anything in my budget unless it already had a million miles on it. Then I came across a rebuilt Titan and got some info back on it that I thought sounded a bit sketchy and my research led me here. I went and test drove a 2014 Frontier that had 40k+ miles. I liked it well enough, but wanted something a little bigger for my growing kids in the back, as well as the ability to tow more. After another week of looking I found it!
Last weekend (3/18/17), after months of online searching and research, I purchased a very gently used 2011 Titan Pro 4X. and only having 16,158 miles on the odometer, I do mean gently used. The truck looks brand new inside and out. I wasn't too keen on the wheels at first, but the more I look at it, the more I like them. No big plans for upgrades as of yet, I know it's a slippery slope from my Jeep days.
