I'm considering a 2004 model. I think it's an XE but it has fog lights.

It doesn't have power mirrors. Would the wiring already be in place for that and all I'd need would be the interior switches and the mirrors?

I did a search and didnt' see any real clear answers.

Thanks.

*Bump* Found my answer over on Club Titan (I'd link it but can't do URLs yet).

It's do-able but not 100% plug-and-play.

Since I can't post URLs yet I can't show the 2004 I'm looking at either. But it's a 4X4 CC grey in color (I think it's called smoke). It's an XE but someone has added fog lights in the past and it has the alloy rather than steel wheels. It only has the basic plastic bedliner though.

Carfax shows and accident in its past but reading the report and looking at the repairs I think it'll be OK. There's a ding underneath the passenger tail light.

It has about 68,500 miles on it.

I'm trying to get them to come to $15,000 out the door for it.

Are you sure the fogs are aftermarket?
My '04 XE came with them, that is why I am asking.

They're OEM fogs I just assumed they were added at the dealer since it's an XE.

This truck belonged to the husband of the general manager of the dealership. It has aftermarket nerf bars on the sides and a nice set of 32" BFG All Terrains.

I originally tried to get them to go $14,000 and negotians stalled with the dealership's last offer being $15,500 out the door.

I've let it sit for a couple of weeks while I considered alternatives.

Two solid weeks of looking hasn't really turned up any better deals.

Ask for and check all warranty work done on it.

I agree, seems high. I just bought that same truck, but it had 30.5K miles and a matching leer cap. Dealer wanted $19K but I got them to give me high KBB on my damaged trade. In my search I saw an 06 4x2 XE with 12K miles for $19K. I'd keep looking. Something will turn up.

In my search I also saw a RAM 4x4 regular cab for $15K, would have looked hard at it if it hadn't been 3 hours away.

I recently bought an 04 non bt 4x4 galaxy black in color here in missouri. I found it online for 13981.00 but when I was at the dealership they told me it was 15900.00 to start but they were (kind enough) ha ha to lower the price to 14900.00 before trade in. When I brought a copy of the ad back in to show them a couple of days later they said they couldn't honor the price because I had already signed the papers for the loan. I don't think that 15000.00 would be a bad price for it because mine had 80000 miles on it when I bought it. KBB is like 17000.00 + for it. I will difinitely know next time I deal with a dealership and come more prepared. Hope this helps!
