I just purchased this 21 Titan APEX and am in the process of customizing it more. My favorite addition was the working Viper (ram air) hood. I have another post on here where I am working to resolve a noise issue. That front grill is on borrowed time. Once my custom shop gets its laser cutter it will be Road warrior skull with flames. Suggestions welcomed! Budget is big!

LMP PERFORMANCE

It is double insulated fiberglass. The fiberglass is actually heavier and much stronger than the OEM hood. The main scoop directs towards the air filter. I paired it with an open air filter under the hood. The other two vents, vent heat from the engine. It comes unfinished so it has to be primed and painted. I recommend painting the mesh intakes black as they are also unfinished metal. It fit perfect.

I want to add that my custom shop spent a lot of time trying to find front bars that would not interfere with the adaptive cruise control sensors. No luck. Even those fog lights on the front had to be tweaked to avoid shutting the very sensitive, front sensors down. I prefer working sensors over a bar.

I added Road Active suspension to the leaf springs. Really gives it a sportier feel / ride. The tires grip the road better with less peal when I need to punch it. Yes, as some have pointed out to me, the ride is stiffer but that is what I wanted! Here is a picture of it installed:

I took special note of the hood movement both before and after the OEM hood was replaced. Hood shaking was moderately reduced with new hood but either way I didn't find the shaking out of the ordinary for such a big hood.

Yeah it wasn't a big deal. I noticed it most at higher speeds like 80 or so and then even worse when there was wind.
