My truck keeps throwing the p0507 code!! I have done the relearn and it fixes the idle but after I shut the truck off and turn it back on it comes right back. It's idling a little low in gear but in neutral or park it's all over anywhere from 700-1700 and it's not just when I first start it's after warm up and everything. I seen it said it might be a vacuum leak but I'm not a mechanic and don't know much about the intake I have a cai on it. Does anyone have a picture or anything telling which hoses need to be sprayed for leaks I need help and any advice is appreciated. Also working out of town and light on cash after new motor so shop is out of the question. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

"Potential Symptoms Most likely you'll notice the idle speed is higher than normal. There are potentially other symptoms as well. Of course, when trouble codes are set, the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp, a.k.a. the check engine light) illuminates. Causes A P0507 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following: A vacuum leak Leaking air intake after the throttle body EGR valve leaking vacuum A faulty positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve Damaged/failed/dirty throttle body Failed EVAP system Failed IAC (idle air controller) or faulty IAC circuit Possible Solutions This DTC is more of an informational code, so if there are any other codes set, diagnose them first. If there are no other codes, inspect the intake air system for air or vacuum leaks and damage. If there are no symptoms other than the DTC itself, just clear the code and see whether it returns. If you have an advanced scan tool that can interact with the car, command the idle higher and lower to see if the engine responds appropriately. Also check the PCV valve to see if it's blocked and needs to be replaced. Check the IAC (idle air controller) if equipped, verify it's operation. If available, try swapping in a new throttle body to see if that fixes the problem. On Nissan Altimas and possibly other vehicles the problem may be fixed by having the dealer perform an idle air relearn procedure, or other relearn procedures."

With that said, I would start by cleaning your throttlebody (make sure you use throttlebody cleaner only). Afterwards, I would clean your MAF sensor (this also needs to be cleaned with the appropriate cleaner). If the symptoms still persist, clean your IAC (idle air control valve (use throttlebody cleaner on this valve as well). Lastly, I would look at your TPS (throttle position sensor) and vacuum lines.

Go to this website:

Scroll down until you find the year of your truck. Click on that year and it will take you to a Web page that has all of the service manuals for your Titan. Said manuals will get you stated down the right path for troubleshooting you rig.
