2010 Pro-4X with all options except for Nav/Sunroof...

I tried searching, but only found some old posts, so hoping someone has some newer information. Few days ago my drivers seat stopped moving forward and back and is currently "locked" all the way back. All other adjustments still work (up/down, recline, etc.). Any thoughts on where to start on this. I can hear a "click" when I hit the button to go back, but nothing when trying to go forward. I've tried to pull on the seat while pushing the button forward, not even a slight budge...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Almost a year later and my seat is still stuck all the way back...

Anyone point me in the right direction to trouble shoot this damn thing?

Nothing that I can see/feel is in the tracks... Button doesn't make any noise when pushed to move seat forward, clicks when it tries to go back, but has no where to go in that direction due to be all the way back.

Replace switch? Anyone know where to get the switch and the process to replace it?

Any other ideas- what is the process to remove the seat?

Thanks!

Removing the seat is 4 bolts and the plug for the seat power. I have a spare motor I bought off someone that I never installed. PM me if you're interested.

I'm having the identical issue. Seat is all the way back, clicks when trying to go back does nothing on forward attempt. Did you fix this on your truck?
Still have not fixed it, good timing though, as I'm taking it to the dealer today to see what they have to say. This is the first trip back to the dealer since I bought the truck new in 1/2011 besides a visit or two for recall work. I'm also having an issue in my HVAC system that I want them to look at.

I've done all the maintenance and repairs on my truck up until this point, hoping for the best, expecting the worst...

**Edit** Back to the drawing board, I was reminded why I never go to dealerships. I'm going to finally pull my seat out and find the answer, I'll update again**

COcamper - Well I removed the four bolts holding down the seat to see if I could locate anything out of place. Banged on the motor with a hammer to no avail. The seat switch is not easy to access--I took off the two paddles and the cover plate from the switch but that did not allow access to the switch. My seat makes click sound when trying to move the seat back, but it is all the way back now trying to move forward results in no sound. I suspect the motor but that is only based on other google searches. pretty frustrating for sure. After poking around I reinstalled the still broken seat. What did the dealer tell you as I'm considering that option now.

Kind of bummed to hear this, I was hoping there was an “easy fix” once the seat bottom was exposed. Did you pull the entire seat out? I have various spare parts I have accumulated from members here, hoping if I take the entire seat out I can access motors and switch.

Sounds like we have the same issue- all functions work except forward (no sound) with the seat stuck all the way back.

As to what the dealer said- wanted $140 to diagnose- I told them I’ve already diagnosed it to either the switch or the motor, still $140. So I went to the parts desk- I knew more about the diagram than the parts guy did! Motor assembly was $365, switch was $180, neither in stock. I wasn’t going to buy parts yet, but wanted to see if the tech or parts guy had any other ideas, nope... I didn’t even ask for a quote on labor, as I’m not spending that. Worst case I’ll take it back and spend the $ on a diagnostic, get the parts and do it myself.

I have a 2007 armada. With the opposite problem. The front passenger seat would go forward not back. I disconnected the motor and checked voltage with the switch in the forward position and with switch in the backward position. Both read correctly. I reversed the positive and negative leads, then pushed the switch to the forward position. The seat moved back. Not a perm fix obviously but now the front passenger doesnt sit with their knees in the dash.

Easiest way to do this is to grab two pieces of spare wire (18guage speaker cable) and stripped a half inch off the ends. From there i jammed one into each side of the disconnected connector. Then held them on the opposite contacts for the motor.

Now that the seat is usable im just leaving it disconnected. Until i have more time. Hope this helps. This is the only time i have been on this forum so if you need further clarity or pics feel free to email me

I am having the same problem on my 2004 Armada. Fixed it by replacing the switch with a used on I bought on ebay. It has now failed again, the part number for mine is 254643079105, Nissan Driver Side Left Front Seat Switch 87066-EA120A. I am buying this part new this time and having my upholster guy install it,
Genuine Nissan Driver Left Front Power Seat Switch 87066-EA120
Total: $139.24
Order number: 13-05332-12221
Item ID: 254643079105
Seller: coultersuperstore(6,831)

I had originally bought this part Nissan Driver Side Left Front Seat Switch 87066-EA20A (Link to EBAY part), but when I included my VIN they cancelled my order telling me it was the wrong part and to order the first part I listed above.
