I am stuck and need some advice...

I bought a set of used wheels today. 20x10 +10 offset (6in backspacing).
They are going on my 04 KC with a leveling kit.

I would love to buy a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers or Toyo Open countries, but unfortunately my budget doesn't allow for those priced tires right now.

I think I have narrowed it down to the Kumho STX or the Falken Ziex S/TZ-04.

I was leaning more toward the Falken, mainly because its a little meatier tire, measuring 14/32 tread depth and 32.0 OD versus the 11/32, 31.9 OD of the Kumho. I have run the Ziex in the past on other cars and have been happy with them.

The only issue I have with the Falkens is that I have read horror stories on balancing/keeping these tires balanced. I really don't want to get into that headache.

Now...I run Kumhos on my race car and have run them on quite a few of my vehicles and have been really happy with them.

Help me out here. Are any of you running the Falkens? Can you recommend another tire that I missed?

I would like to get some tires on order, but I can't make up my mind.

the yoko parada specx is also an outstanding tire!
Yeah, what he said ^^^^^ I love mine. Smooth quiet, great in the rain. Look good wrapped around the wheels too.

I ended up ordering the Falkens yesterday. The 14/32 tread depth was the selling point. I really hope I don't have the balancing issues that I have read about.

You must have had the exception to the rule. Mine are so quiet I have to roll the window down to make sure I am actually doing 85mph
