Here is the deal - back in March I was driving the truck a 2004 titan and it started missing, felt like a fuel problem, thought I'd got some bad fuel, the check engine light came on but I was 500 miles from home, so I filled the tank with super and put some fuel injector cleaner in and it started running better. Now jump to last week when it started doing the same thing again, I've now tried new fuel and injector cleaner and its getting worse, I get the P)335 code when I pull the codes. I've been told 3 things from 3 diff people,

1. fuel pump assembly
2. cam sensor
3. MAF sensor - which I just tried from my friends truck with no success

It starts hard, then runs but will not rev above 3000 rpm and continues to run bad.

Any more ideas, I'm going to try the cam sensor tommorow as it is alot easier than putting a fuel pump in.

Thanks

I don't have a great answer for you, but manufacturer does not recommend fuel additives and people have had injectors fowl from it, so just use caution. Check spark plugs too. Especially if it's over 100k

P0335 is related directly to the Crankshaft position sensor, start with that. All the symptoms you have is tied to the sensor believe it or not. Let me know if you have any other codes and dont confuse the cam and crank sensor which is easily done all the time.

There is a TSB available for it, Here is some more information for you attached. Again cant stress if enough that the cam and crank can be confused and what you are after is the Crank, honestly if you can just replace both but your code is related to the Crank.
