Hey I just finished installing my starter. Followed the sticky post which was great! But it won't start. I turn the key and it sounds like it should for a split second to turn over then I hear a ping. I think the starters pinging off the flywheel. Does anyone know what I did wrong and or how I should go about fixing it? Any advise would be amazing.

Oh crap. Wrong starter or wrong tooth count might cause this.
Sounds like you got it installed correctly but you probably have to get it back out and compare it to the old one in terms of teeth and Bendix throw. It is also possible that you got a bad rebuild. Did you test it out of the car before you installed it?

Thank you so much for your response. I didn't check the starter before I put it back in. They looked like they were identical. Does anyone know the difference between a flex fuel starter and a non flex fuel starter. I know they are different but not sure how their different. My Titan is flex fuel, maybe they gave me one for non flex fuel.
